Laser Rejuvenation
Skin Aging
Skin aging is an on-going process, beside the natural tissue aging external factors like diet, smoking and general lifestyle can improve loss of skin tonicity in all dermal districts. Moreover, the UV light of the sun causes cutaneous changes as damage to collagen, solar elastosis, lentigos, erythrosis, and wrinkles. These effects are generally described as Photodamage. We can define Laser Skin Rejuvenation as “the process to use lasers of light-based device for returning skin to a more youthful appearance”.
How Laser Skin Rejuvenation Works
Laser Skin Rejuvenation is not a focused treatment on a specific lesion like a pigmented spot or a vein, but covers a wider area like the whole face and neck, décolletéě or hands, with the aim of rejuvenating skin appearance. Laser Rejuvenation helps strengthen skin structure and improve skin quality, and stimulates the formation of new collagen. According to a Stanford University study 2-4 of photorejuvenation treatments per year DELAY skin aging. How? By turning on the RNA and DNA that make collagen and elastin. More frequent treatments can actually REVERSE skin aging and put Rosacea into remission.
What You Can Expect
Laser Skin Rejuvenation treatments are noninvasive, gentle and are associated with virtually no downtime. Although improvement is noticeable with the first session, an initial series of 3-5 treatments, (every three to four weeks), is recommended for the best results. Skin with significant damage may require more treatments. Maintenance treatments are suggested at 6-month intervals for optimum skin health. Laser Rejuvenation treatments CAN and should be performed year-round. We will frequently recommend combining these treatments with Hydrafacial treatments for optimum results
