Microdermabrasion
Conditions It Treats
The goal of microdermabrasion is to remove blemishes, rough spots and dead skin, while stimulating new skin growth for a vibrant and healthier looking face.
Types of Treatment
FreshSkin offers several options, including:
Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion—The DiamondTome™ Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion system has proven to be one of the most popular and effective treatments for wrinkles, active acne, acne scars, sun damage, enlarged pores, etc., and requires little to no downtime. Using surgical stainless steel diamond encrusted wands; we gently remove the dead layers of skin to expose newer, younger skin. For the best results, we recommend a series of four treatments, beginning with once a week for four weeks, followed by once-a-month maintenance.
Hydrafacial™—This procedure is designed to give you smooth and moisture-rich skin. It’s a form of microdermabrasion that uses fluids, rather than crystals, to remove dead skin. That’s because it combines a facial (cleaning, extraction of whiteheads and blackheads, and exfoliation) with customized solutions and applies anti-aging products. It can be used on most skin types and ethnicities. For the best results, we recommend a series of four treatments, beginning with once a week for four weeks, followed by once-a-month maintenance.
Medical Microdermabrasion—Medical Microdermabrasion stimulates the skin to produce new cells and collagen, to give skin a fresher look. It’s a three-step treatment that uses crystal-free microdermabrasion, a gentle chemical peel appropriate to your skin, and a hydrator/sun block. This is a much more effective treatment than traditional microdermabrasion. To begin, a series of four treatments once every two weeks is recommended. It’s also an ideal skin maintenance treatment.
